He nods and tells him his path is elsewhere. ![]() Saint Walker says there is still too much anger within him and that he would always have a place among the Blue Lanterns if he chose so. He ends up leaving with Hal and his crew. He says she has more of a soul than he would ever have. He catches Aya and apologizes for what he has said earlier about robots not having a soul. When one of the Manhunters attacks Aya, though, his anger grows so strong that he gets his red ring powers back, destroying the machine. He tells them the "angry Razer" was responsible for great evil and now he is trying to become someone else, "someone less angry". In season 2, the crew finds Razer training with the Blue Lanterns. While he is with Hal and his crew, he becomes intimate with Aya, who reminds him of his late wife. He officially switches sides, but the anger in his heart is still too strong, forcing him to keep his red ring. Razer defeats his former leader and would be ready to kill him if Aya didn't stop him by saying they needed to get out of the base before it was destroyed. He saw great potential in Razer, but he knew she would be a hindrance to his development as a warrior. Atrocitus reveals that he was the one responsible for Alana's death. He ends up as a member of the crew, although formally he is there as their prisoner.ĭuring his last visit to the Red Lanterns base (to recharge his ring), he is confronted by their leader, Atrocitus, who is aware of his involvement with the Green Lanterns. Aya (the A.I of Hal's Ship) frees Razer from the reality simulator he was chained to and he, warned by her, saves Hal and Kilowog from the fury of the prison administrators. They left him in the prison the Guardians recommended, but they found out it was place where they tortured prisoners. Razer is taken as a prisoner by Hal Jordan and his crew, after trying to destroy a planet with the Red Lanterns. Razer would eventually disapprove of the Red Lanterns disregard for life and defect, joining forces with the Green Lanterns Hal Jordan, Kilowog and Aya. He was visited by Atrocitus of the Red Lantern Corps and made a member. Blue Lantern Ring: Razer's determination to find Aya was so strong, it attracted a blue lantern ring, inducting him into the Blue Lantern Corps.His home world in a brutal civil war, Razer joined the militia to fight for his cause only to return to find his wife, Ilana, killed.Vulnerability to Blue Hope: Blue energy renders his red lantern ring useless.Alien Physiology: Razer belongs to a race which has a food storage system that can go for months without refilling.While seemingly destroyed, Razer was determined to find some trace of her in the cosmos and went off on his own his hope so powerful it attracted a Blue Lantern ring into following him. However, in order to destroy all the Manhunters under her command, she unleashed a computer virus to incapacitate both them and herself. Aya mortally wounded him in retaliation, and the shock brought her out of her emotionless state, allowing her to heal him. While intending to assassinate her during her attempt, Razer faltered due to his love for her. Razer and Aya grew close, but a conflict as they face the Anti-Monitor caused Aya to shut down her emotions, decapitating the Anti-Monitor and hijacking his body, going on a crusade to unmake all life. They had many adventures together at one point Razer departed to stay with the Blue Lantern Corps, who helped him calm his rage. They were defeated by Hal Jordan, and Razer eventually had a change of heart and joined the Green Lantern's crew. Atrocitus sent Razer and Zilius on a mission to kill Frontier Green Lanterns in preparation for an oncoming invasion of their forces into Guardian Space. Razer rose quickly through the ranks of the Red Lanterns, and soon held a place of honor at Atrocitus' side alongside Zilius Zox. Overcome with grief and self-loathing, Razer could not resist the power of the Red Power Ring that found him and was inducted into the Red Lantern Corps. One day, Razer returned home from battle to discover his beloved Ilana had been murdered while he'd been away. A soldier on his homeworld, Razer was part of a band of militiamen seeking to oust the corrupt warlords who periodically raided their villages. ![]()
